Family Support

REACH provides support to families functioning under conditions of stress. A licensed social worker is available to encourage self-sufficiency and assist people with necessities such as clothing, heat assistance and rent. REACH’s Family Support program provides:
  • Information & Referral for persons seeking services provided by other community agencies.
     
  • Advocacy and Assistance dealing with crises situations or multiple issues and agencies.
     
  • Hawley Food Pantry which is provided in cooperation with the Hawley Ministerium.
     
  • Salvation Army Vouchers which are provided by the Clay County Salvation Army Unit.

Last year REACH provided 29 Salvation Army vouchers, and 191 vouchers for the
REACH Reusable Thrift Store. 63 Children received school supplies and 60 women received free interview suits through our NW Minnesota Dress for Success® program.

We encourage anyone who is having difficulty coping with life to call, visit us at our office, or
e-mail. There are a variety of resources at REACH including counseling.
